Mearns Kirk

The Knit and Natter Group have been meeting on Mondays since August. It has proven to be very popular and we have had to put a cap on the numbers meantime.

Along with our own projects of fantastic socks, jumpers, cowls etc. we have been knitting blankets and baby hats for Paisley Maternity Hospital, hats and scarves for the Lodging House Mission and GalGael, knitted nursery rhyme characters for the Isobel Mair School, and baby cardigans and hats for a midwifery led community group.

We have also had adult shawls and twiddlemuffs donated by church members which have been given to a local care home. Many thanks to everyone for all this woolly goodness.
