Welcome to our website and to Mearns Kirk.
We are part of the Church of Scotland and our wee building is just over 200 years old. What we do though is to seek to be a relevant community church which shares God's love.
The Church is people and that's very much our focus here at Mearns Kirk. Hopefully, as you look at our website you will see the importance we place on what we do with and for all sorts of folk. From young to old, and all ages in between, we want to grow a church family in which people can feel that there is a place for them, wherever they are on the journey of faith.
I'm always saying that you come as you are to Church and travel at your own pace, supported by the love of everyone else. God loves us as we are, and in the Church such unconditional love should be experienced. We are working hard at being such a church, a place where all are welcome.
