Glasgow Close Knit

We are taking part in this Glasgow Wide project as part of the Glasgow 850 celebrations. The aim of the project is to show how churches can come together to make a difference to those without a home and to raise awareness of the work of the Lodging House Mission.
Churches, community groups and individuals are invited to join in by knitting or crocheting squares which will then be sewn into blankets for distribution to those engaging with homelessness services across the city.
If you would like to get involved please knit or crochet squares 6”x6” or 8”x8” and either leave in the church vestibule or hand into the halls labelled Glasgow Close Knit.
