Sunday Club

So far this year it has been quieter at Sunday Club - meetings have been irregular as we are missing Sam's leadership while she is recovering from illness.

The exciting news is that Sunday Club will be on every Sunday from 21st November right through Advent to Christmas.

During Advent we will start at 9:30am sharp – starting with singing and lots of arts and crafts.  After that we will go up to church for 10:15am for the lighting of the Advent Candles.
The families can then leave and enjoy the rest of their weekend.

I really look forward to seeing everyone – Advent is a wonderful time – full of excitement, hope and good will.

Here are a few dates for your diaries:

Sunday 5th Dec - Gift Service: Sharing the joy of giving and helping families and communities in Glasgow.  Please do not wrap gifts - just place them into open gift bags and put them under the Christmas tree at church before the service.

Christmas cards for Outreach: last year the gifts and cards distributed by our Outreach team were very well received so this Christmas the Sunday Club is helping in the same way.

Christmas Party: On Saturday 18th December - 3pm - 4:30pm in our church hall.  There will be fun and games and Santa will stop by for a visit. Invitations will go out shortly – if you have not received an invitation, please contact Marianne MacGregor, Pam at the church office or Eleanor Boyd.

Sunday, 19th December: For the 4th Sunday of Advent we might get a chance to use our nativity costumes - watch out for more news in a few weeks.

On behalf of Sam, Joe and I wishing our lovely Sunday Club families a wonderful time at Christmas with all their loved ones – may God Bless you at this special time!

See you all back in the New Year safe and sound – hopefully with our wonderful Sam recovered and back at the helm!
