Clothes Swap
A few of the Mums at Sunday Club started our Clothes Swap in June 2022 and on 12th August we ran our 4th event which was very well attended.
Parents drop off clothes that their children have grown out of in exchange for tokens that are exchanged for second hand clothes.
Clothes are in good condition and often new but unworn. It is a great way to save perfectly good clothes from going into landfill and helps families in times when costs are going up and budgets are tight. No money changes hands.
We offer tea / coffee and biscuits and people stay and chat and leave a donation for Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity. One of our Mums also offers face painting, which proved to be extremely popular. Over £100 was raised in donations.
