Report from Sunday Club and Little Stars
During Advent we met every Sunday. The children took a turn in lighting the advent candle at the start of the service and reciting a wee Advent Prayer.
On the third Sunday in Advent after the service our families enjoyed a lunch followed by party games and a visit from Santa.
Our year ended on a high with the children performing Christmas songs during the Christmas family service which they had been rehearsing with Shona Clark and Jim Milroy, who once again volunteered to work with the children and bring out their talents. A few children sang solos which did not leave a dry eye in the church that morning.
We started back on 22nd January and Sunday Club will revert to twice monthly every 2nd and 4th Sunday of every month:
12 and 26 Feb,
12 and 26 Mar,
9 and 23 April,
14 and 28 May
The children are being taught in two groups hearing the bible story with relevant activities and crafts.
Young Eilidh Fraser is continuing to volunteer with us for her Duke of Edinburgh award and we are all delighted, as the children have really taken to her.
We are very lucky to have our young families who attend regularly - it is such a joy to see the children take part and enjoy themselves.
