Update from Keep Fit Club
I hope you have enjoyed the summer. I know it is not finished yet but I want to remind you that the class will resume on Thursday the 5th of September. New members will be made very welcome. We have excellent accommodation and have a coffee after the class of which any cash goes to charity.
A word of thanks to all who have supported the class and regularly attended, which enabled us to give to worthy causes. £150 to the Lunch Club (Helping hands), £50 to Quarriers and same to East Park, and £700 to Mearns Kirk for use of hall from the monies that were given for the session January to May 2024.
We finished the session with a lunch which was held in the church hall. A pleasant and happy day was had by all.
Lastly THANK YOU, ladies, for the flowers and gift you gave me, they were greatly appreciated.
You do not need to be young and trendy to join us - young at heart will do!
